The main festival award, Spark, went to the film Aalto by the Finnish director Virpi Suutari. The film is an excellent documentary that provides an informative insight into key sections of modern architecture and design. Alvar Aalto was presented exactly as he was - turned to nature as an inspiration and an author who showed what pleasure is in the creative process of design, in which there is always a factor of surprise. The film is extremely inspiring for connoisseurs and young people, according to the jury's explanation.

A magnificent dedication to human genius and the ability to turn something that is disgusting into something beautiful and useful. In addition, the film is humorous, just like the very idea of putting a ski resort on top of a waste incinerator.
